The Chilean Electronic Stock Exchange (Bolsa Electrónica de Chile, BEC) was the first Latin American stock exchange that allowed investors to trade on-line and in real time all kind of instruments.
It is located in the middle of Santiago's downtown and since November of 1989, when it started to be operational, it has got a position as ones of the drivers of the development of Latin American equity market due to its permanent will to introduce new products and services based on transactional-edge technology. |
